celebrating tWEnty - 20 great things about the Race for the Cure!

  1. Joining with friends, family and colleagues to help end breast cancer forever.
  2. Remembering those we've lost to breast cancer and keeping their memory in our hearts.
  3. Honoring survivors who show us everyday that a breast cancer diagnosis does not define them.
  4. Helping the under-served -  by walking and running we are helping women  access free mammograms and breast cancer education.
  5. Keeping it local - knowing that 75% of our donations stay in Central and South Jersey.
  6. Funding researchh that saves lives.  25% of our donations directly support global research programs to fund the cures.
  7. Innovation is home grown - Dr. Yibin Kang at Princeton University is a Komen research grant recipient.  He's leading the fight right here in New Jersey.
  8.  Paint the Park Pink Day - The warm up to the Race will feature a concert by Foreigner on June 16th.
  9. Team Names - creative, funny, and heartwarming - every team name tells a story.  What's your favorite?
  10. Strength in numbers - 353 team captains recruited over 8,000 participants in 2012.
