One in eight women will get breast cancer in their lifetime. I am participating in the Race for the Cure on Sunday October 5th, 2008 to changes the odds.


The Susan G. Komen for the Cure promise is to end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all, and energizing science to find the cures. With each step, we are closer to a world without breast cancer.

15 years and still running....

The Susan G. Komen for the Cure Central and South Jersey Affiliate celebrates the 15th Anniversary of the Race for the Cure. The affiliate hopes to raise $1.8 million dollars to fund innovative breast cancer research programs and local education and screening initiatives to save lives. In 2008, the affiliate invested $1.4 million into the local community reaching 55,000 women in New Jersey with the important message of early detection.
